 After years of sales in restaurant equipment and restaurant custom stainless steel products I started my design business in 1989 in a small office adjacent to the Orange County Health Department with the idea of helping people to get their small restaurant off to a good start with a proper kitchen design and layout. I was like the "Bail Bondsman outside the Jail" for the confused future restauranteur checking with the health department about plan requirements. I specialized as a liason between the plan checkers and the people trying to open or remodel their restaurants, helping them to understand the rules and regulations and recommending solutions to their problems. As my business has grown, the city building department detail requirements have become more demanding. We have enhanced our capabilities to be able to provide plans that will pass all city and county regulations, while still keeping my vision of helping people to get their restaurants started in an economical way.
